RATES

​

Emerge Models will quote model rates on a half or full day or other negotiated rate.  4 hours is the minimum rate. If job runs 20 minutes or more into the next hour, overtime will be charged at an hourly overtime rate  constituting an additional full hour to be charged. Quotes are valid for 30 days. 

 

For nude or semi-nude work, minimum of double model‘s hourly rate or by negotiation. Client must clear with agency  before making any nude or semi-nude bookings. Fees will be charged should this occur onsite without agency pre-accepting and the model has the right to refuse. Full fees will be charged should this occur.

USAGE

​

Specific types of usage such as posters, billboards, bus shelters, display cards, dump bins, metrolites, magazine inserts, swing/hang tags, show cards, packaging and social media/internet etc require additional fees as negotiated in addition to payment for the model’s shoot time.  Some products are also likely to attract payment of higher fees, e.g. underwear, alcohol, hair and beauty products. Different types of usage will be negotiated separately and images taken for one type of usage may not be used for any other type of usage without prior negotiation and payment of an additional fee. If you do not disclose the correct information when booking, and models are later found to be used on any of these external platforms, the additional fees will occur.

HOLDS / OPTIONS

Holds must be released or confirmed 24 hours (one full working day) prior to booking, otherwise other options or definite bookings could take precedence.  The booking is not confirmed until payment is made.

BRIEFS

A detailed brief/call sheet with the list of booked talent, safety officer, time, date, location, break times, required items and any additional information requested for the booking must be provided no less than 3 days in advance. Emerge Models does not guarantee arrival of models if the brief is not given within enough time to notify models. Clients will charged full fee for lack of organisation.

CANCELLATIONS

A cancellation fee of 100% of full fee applies if cancellation made less than 7 full business day prior to commencement of job.

WEATHER HOLD DAYS 

First cancellation on weather check if weather is bad – no fee

Second cancellation – full fee- we recommend finding an alternate weather proof location.

HAIR / MAKE-UP / REHEARSALS/ FITTINGS/ WARDROBE CHECKS/ RECALLS

Full hourly rate for every hour required. 

​

TRAVEL TIME

Full hourly rate when outside 10 kilometre radius of city GPO. Full Day rates will concur for any travel requiring flights. Client must pay for all transfers from airport to shoot location. Any days exceeding 8 hours require accomodation to be provided in a 5 star hotel. 

 

 

MEALS

Clients are responsible for model’s meals on full day location shoots and all bookings out of the metropolitan area. If models are not provided food in due time, or given adequate breaks, a $100 fee will occur.

PRODUCT EXCLUSIVITY AND RESTRICTIONS

Models’ services are supplied on a  non-exclusive basis to the client unless otherwise negotiated by client at time of booking.  If a client requires a model to be excluded from performing modelling services relating to competing products or requires product/area exclusivity this will attract higher fees.  It is client’s responsibility to check all product bookings with us for conflicts.

COMPLAINTS

Any cause for complaint should be reported to Emerge Models  during the course of the booking or immediately thereafter otherwise they will be void. 

​

INSURANCE AND TAXATION

Emerge Models is not the model’s employer but acts as agent for and on behalf of the model. The Australian Taxation Office regards the end user of the model’s services as entering into a contract of employment with the model.  Unless otherwise agreed with Emerge Models, the client is responsible for all taxation obligations associated with each job. Emerge Models does not carry insurance for the model and it is the client’s responsibility to have and maintain all appropriate insurances for the model.

MEDIA RELEASE FORM

A model's image cannot be used without a signed media release form stating the agreed upon usage for the images and must be signed by Emerge Models before any images can be released. If this occurs without consent, additional fees will be charged.

​

GOODS AND SERVICE TAX

Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged at the Government set rate (currently 10%) on the Agency Service Fee.

PAYMENT TERMS

Full payment is required to confirm booking.  No booking will proceed without payment. Emerge Models reserves the right to send an outstanding invoice to debt collectors. 

 

If the client breaches any terms, Emerge Models reserves the right to charge additional fees for the associated breaches to the terms and conditions.
